Original Life Size Creature from the Black Lagoon. Sculpted by Henry Alvarez. Cast and Molded from the original mold in 1971.
Only 3 were cast from this mold. This is the third cast from the original mold before it fell apart. Because the mold fell apart the lower torso and shoulder did not align properly. I had to restructure and re-fiberglass certain areas.
Challenges with this statue were dealing with 50 year old brittle fiberglass and resin.
This statue was from Orlando Florida.

It was displayed in Salem, MA at the SCAM Art Gallery and featured in the Salem Horror Fest. Currently in Phoenix Arizona, with the guys from The Deathlist Podcast for their media production and film set.
