Creature Table
This custom hand-crafted “Creature from the Black Lagoon” coffee table is a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
Ii started as a Halloween Lawn Crawler.
I sculpted and welded a custom tree base. I bent and welded a frame for the kidney bean shaped glass top that had to be custom cut.
Foam coated the tree base and ring. Fiberglassed and hard-coated to create a realsitic tree texture.
Adding the details to the frame.
Added moss for a realistic effect.
Adding the moss for the ground and air brushing water details before pouring resin for a water effect.
The final result was posted online and bought by Skillset Magazine based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
